Controls Engineer Jobs Controls engineers take the various components of the project and make them actually work. A controls engineer may set up a complete system within a production facility from reading the blueprints through to actually starting up the system, testing, making corrections and troubleshooting issues. Control engineers must be able to work with a variety of different systems as well as have good mechanical and electrical abilities. A natural ability to understand how things work and how to fix things that don't is a great asset.

Design Engineer Jobs distinguished from the designer/drafter by virtue of the fact that a design engineer sets the direction of the design effort. The design engineer usually leads the project, directing the designer/drafter as necessary. He/she works with industrial designers and marketing to develop the product concept and specifications and directs the design effort from that point. Products are usually designed with input from a number of sources such as manufacturing, purchasing, tool making and packaging engineering.

Electrical Engineer Jobs Electrical Engineer candidates may be responsible for: managing all aspects of electrical design projects including normal and emergency power distribution systems, sizing electrical rooms, and lighting control systems; performing calculations, equipment selection and specification; system design and layout; field investigation and construction administration; and planning and implementing research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects

Industrial Engineer Jobs Industrial Engineer candidates may design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Industrial Engineers may also analyze operations and suggest improvements to existing procedures.

Manufacturing Engineers may also develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Mechanical Engineering Jobs Mechanical Engineering candidates may perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Mechanical Engineers may also oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment as centralized heat, gas, water, plumbing and steam systems.

Process Engineer Jobs Process Engineers may be involved in troubleshooting, improving, and developing new processes, processing characterization, identifying critical process parameters, and collecting and analyzing technical data. Candidates may also research alternative production methods and equipment and audit and implement improvements for process control.

Project Engineer Jobs Project Engineer responsibilities can typically include project management, engineering design, report preparation, and some level of client relations. A candidate may also be expected to analyze project needs and assist in developing project objectives, ensure that work installed or performed on projects meets plan and specification requirements, and assure compliance with regulations as well as assigned project plans and specifications.

Quality Engineer Jobs Quality Engineer job duties may include: ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials go through proper levels of inspection; planning and directing activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards; providing direction, leadership, and training for the identification, implementation, and use of effective and efficient quality systems and procedures.

Test Engineer Jobs a professional who determines how to create a process that would test a particular product in manufacturing, or related area, in order to guarantee that the product will be shipped out with good quality. Test engineers are also responsible for determining the best way a test can be performed in order to achieve 100% test coverage of all components using different test process. Test engineers define how a product is designed for testability and manufacturability. Data gathering plays a very important part during the products' lifespan. In early stages, these data or test yields drive the product to see if it is mature enough to go into mass production. Certain companies have specific yield targets for each process that measures the yields expected and/or acceptable.
